Outlook on a computer

Windows & Mac

There are two versions of Outlook. Use whichever you have — both find the settings for you.

  3. 3Enter your password, approve the verification prompt, and click Done.

Classic Outlook (Windows)

Not sure which one you have? If there's a Settings gear in the top-right corner, it's New Outlook. If not, it's Classic.

Read your mail in a browser

Nothing to install
  1. 1Go to outlook.office.com. This is the right address for a Peelman work-style account. Typing outlook.com will also redirect you here once you sign in.
  2. 2Enter your full @peelman.us address and click Next.
  3. 3Enter your password and approve the verification prompt if one appears.
  4. 4You're in — no setup, no app. Bookmark the page so it's one click next time.
Good for: a shared family computer, a quick check from someone else's device, or when you just don't want to install anything.
Rarely needed

Manual settings

Almost nobody needs these — the steps above set everything up on their own. Keep this here only for the odd app that asks for server details by hand.

Account typeExchange / Microsoft 365
Usernameyour full @peelman.us address
Incoming server (IMAP)outlook.office365.com · 993 · SSL
Outgoing server (SMTP)smtp.office365.com · 587 · STARTTLS

Choose Exchange (not IMAP/POP) whenever the app offers it, so sign-in uses your normal password. Plain IMAP/POP is often turned off on our mail for security and may not connect.

Stuck?

It happens. Reach out and we'll get you sorted.

If a sign-in won't go through or you've forgotten your password, don't keep retrying — just ask.
